The Cookie MD is Indy’s Black-and woman-owned destination for gourmet desserts.
The Cookie MD was born from a simple passion for cooking and a love for “creating delicious treats that bring joy to people’s lives,” according to the website. What began as a home kitchen culinary project during the pandemic grew into a thriving business fueled by a commitment to creating unique and flavorful cookies with only the best ingredients.
“Over the years, we have honored our recipes, experimented with new flavors, and listened to our customers’ feedback to continuously improve and expand our offerings,” the website states. “Our dedication to quality and customer satisfaction has earned us a loyal following and a reputation for excellence in the cookie industry. As we look back on our journey, we are proud of how far we have come and excited for the future ahead.”

The Cookie MD specializes in extra-large gourmet cookies, and its current menu features six year-round flavors, including Biscoff, chocolate chip, lemon cake, oatmeal raisin, peanut butter, red velvet, s’mores, snickerdoodle and strawberry cake. The Cookie MD also features a rotating specialty flavor of the month, which is chosen at random.
All cookies are sold individually or in half dozens and full dozens. They come individually wrapped and heat-sealed in matte cellophane bags, according to the website. Online orders submitted by noon on Friday will be shipped the following Monday. In-person pick up is available on Sundays from noon to 5 p.m. on the northwest side.
