Minority Business Highlight: Silly Hearts Yoga for Kids

Silly Hearts Yoga for Kids is an Indianapolis-based mobile and community-based yoga program for children.

This company offers yoga classes available to schools, daycares and private “yoga playdates” that customers can schedule via email or phone. Silly Hearts can tailor classes to meet the daycare or school’s specific needs.

“We offer a fun, safe, and engaging environment for children of all ages to practice yoga and move their bodies,” the company’s website states. “Silly Hearts Yoga uses music and books along with traditional yoga poses in a child-friendly style.”

Audrey Beaugh founded Silly Hearts Yoga for Kids in 2015. Beaugh is an early childhood special educator who has practiced yoga for more than 20 years.

According to the website, Beaugh began using yoga in her kindergarten classroom years ago to help children focus, calm their bodies, and incorporate movement into their everyday routine.
