Jeremy and Kiera White founded Alms Home Care in 2023 as a way to provide compassionate, comprehensive care management for Hoosier seniors and their families.
“As a provider of creative care management and personal care services, we aim to bridge the gap between an aging population of seniors and the loved ones who take responsibility for their care,” the website states. “Our team understands that changes can come unexpectedly as we age and we are here to help you manage all of life’s changes with confidence and innovative solutions.”

The agency and direct staff at Alms Home Care are educated and trained in geriatric care and share a passion for delivering compassionate elderly care services, according to the website. The goal of the business revolves around being able to serve as an advocate for Hoosier families in all matters related to, but not limited to, care coordination, in-home support, Medicare and Medicaid issues, legal matters, financial services and placement.
Following a comprehensive assessment, Alms Home Care works to align the resources and support needed to reduce stress, rising costs and avoidable hospitalizations while improving the quality of life for seniors and the family caregiver, according to the website.
Services include structured family caregiving — including both personal and companion care, medication reminders, diabetic shoe ordering and fitting, a dedicated Medicare advisor, in-home notary services, and waiver transportation and non-waiver/Medicaid-only transportation. This program believes in keeping family members in their own homes or with caregivers rather than placing them in nursing homes, and advocates for maintaining familiar connections.
Alms Home Care also provides free caregiving coaching and attendant care, also known as Home Maker, which ensures eligible caregivers receive hourly compensation for their services.
