Minority Business Highlight: WIDYA Designs

WIDYA Designs is an Indianapolis-based online boutique that sells handmade jewelry and lifestyle accessories.

Widya Ukkas is the artisan and founder of WIDYA Designs (formerly called Clay Sweet Clay). Originally from Indonesia, Ukkas moved to Indianapolis when she was 18 years old to finish her bachelor’s degree at the Indiana University Kelley School of Business.

“It all started in 2021 when I discovered polymer clay jewelry through an online video, and it ignited a passion in me,” Ukkas said. “What started as a creative outlet quickly became an obsession; a way to blend my love for unique, cute, and eye-catching designs into a form of wearable art. Now, alongside jewelry, I’ve expanded my collection to include handmade quilted bags. The pieces I create express my passions and style.”

This boutique also offers keychain wallets, laptop sleeves and travel pouches for customers looking for handcrafted accessories for travel or business.
