Helmer & Huggins is an online pet boutique established in 2024. Owned by Belinda Maxie, the business aims to provide style, comfort and high-quality apparel for pets. They are committed to offering a wide range of “fashion-forward” designs that celebrate the unique personalities of people’s pets, according to the website.
“Our passion for pets drives us to create a shopping experience that’s as fun and playful as our furry friends, making sure every pet parent can find something perfect for their beloved companions,” the website states.

Helmer & Huggins offers a variety of pet apparel, including hats, bow ties, dresses, bandanas, polos and even denim jackets. They have seasonal items, such as fleece and Hawaiian shirts, and even professional sports-themed items, covering local NFL, NBA and MLB teams as well as IU and Purdue.
Customers can shop the selection online and order shipping or pickup from their Indianapolis location or find the Helmer & Huggins booth at various events around the city.
Helmer & Huggins is based in Indianapolis, operating an online store from 1611 Columbia Ave., Suite B, with a booth at a variety of local festivals and events, including Melanin in May, Juneteenth Foodways Festival, Indy Juneteenth Celebration, Indiana Black Expo and more.
